I am trying to help a friend repair his 2000 suzuki intruder vs800. i am trying to find a used speedometer and mount for him. the question i have is will a 2001 speedometer work with a 2000 the speedometers look the same but have different part numbers. can someone please help me i am not familiar with forums and can not find the info on the web. i have the internal wires and gears, and bulbs from old speedometer. thank you for your help
