I recently bought a 2005 m50 and didnt get an owners manual. The one question I have so far is the gas light. Ive only seen it blink so far because I wasnt sure on how this one worked. How much gas is left when the light blinks and does it go to a solid light when it gets real low?

 

The fuel light starts blinking around 3 quarts, and goes solid about 1 1/2 - 2 quarts. In the past I've figured when it starts blinking all the time, (as opposed to qick starts and hilly areas), I've gotabout 20 miles to find gas. When its on all the time, I need to get gas now!
