Sitting in my garage is a used former AFM track bike in great condition (Reg is current and I have pink in hand). This bike is worth itself in parts. Lets start with all the good things about it...
<br>
<br>
Brakes:
<br>
<br>
- Full Floating large brakes. (aid in hard braking during high speed deceleration)
<br>
- Steel braided brake lines
<br>
- I just bled both the front and back brakes with DOT 5.1 brake fluid
<br>
<br>
<br>
Suspension:
<br>
<br>
- Rebuilt front forks
<br>
- Ohlins rear shock (looked around online, average rear shock for this year is about $850)
<br>
- Steering damper from Holland (adjustable and rebuildable)
<br>
<br>
<br>
Body:
<br>
<br>
- Full race fairings (quick release)
<br>
- Carbon fiber frame covers
<br>
- Carbon fiber front fender
<br>
- Frame sliders
<br>
<br>
<br>
Drivetrain:
<br>
- Blue printed motor about 3500 miles ago (from what I was told)
<br>
- upgraded sprocket
<br>
- Full Exhaust (nice and loud!)
<br>
<br>
<br>
Misc:
<br>
<br>
- New battery
<br>
- Fresh Redline Oil
<br>
- I began to take off some of the sticker that came with the bike so that I may design in my own style
<br>
- Had bike inspected by local race shop .... Leak down test = 4% ... bike is over all solid and compression is good
<br>
- fuel stabilizer added into tank in case you will not be using this for a few months
<br>
- Comes with rear stand (bike has no kick stand)
<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
Now the Bad:
<br>
- You should put new tires
<br>
- speedo doesn't work ... not sure why (didn't look into it because you don't really need anyways)
<br>
- shift light needs a new fuse
<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
I rode this bike a couple times around the block, rides nice and pulls hard. I'm selling it because I am not fully recovered from a previous injury and feel like I rushed into getting another bike.
