i just picked this bike up for dirt cheap.. its kinda rough it needs a topend. but it starts first kick. once it warms up it dies but will start back up.. carb problem?? any info would be great

 

does it die when idling or when your on the throttle?

 

if ur goin to stop it will die it wont die when ur on the throttle i think its too rich..

 

could be the jetting. if the bike is stock i doubt its ever been jetted. i would just do the new top end and put it back to stock jetting (if its been changed) then go from there. also a new spark plug.

what mix are you running?
