Default 2002 Aerio SX Airbag Help Needed!!!

Hello All...

I have gone through a time trying to get this fixed and I just found this site so hopefully someone can help.

About 4 moinths after my wife and I bought this car I hit a deer doing about 15 MPH in a residential neighborhood. The deer damaged the front drivers side headlight and the bumper. The airbags never deployed and the car was driveable no problems. The damage was light and it was covered by our insurance. They replaced the front bumper and headlight assembly. When we got the car back, the airbag light was on.

Well, then begins a series of headaches dealing with all the dealers in the area and the collision center for about a year, and no one seems to be able to fix this. The collision center got bought out and lost all our records so we ended up getting screwed by them. So we decided to just pay the dealers but the service around here was so bad we couldnt even pay them to fix it and they would never let us know what was wrong.

Recently, one of friends who works for Suzuki told me the problem is probably the connection to the sensor on the front bumper is not connected and needs to be connected.

So, here is where I need your help - does anyone know where this is on the bumper? I cant seem to find it easily and I dont want to take this thing apart too much before I know what I am looking for.

Also, I found a 2005 Aerio Airbag computer on ebay for sale. Does anyone know if that is compatible with the 2002?

Thanks!!
