Default Battery info

Okay I found out a lot about this batt and most Aerio Owners are using OEM 24F. I hear most are using 35 but my question on that would be if it's a higher batt wouldn't I have to make more adjustment like new terminal's/wires ??

Default RE: Battery info

I have a 2003 aerio sx awd. It has about 63000 mile. it won't start this AM. After the AAA gave me a boost, he told me to drive for 30 mins so the battery will get charge. I drove for 60 mins then I turned it off and tried to restart. The car did not start. i called my mechnic and he said I need a new battery. Could it be that I need an alternator. What do you think is the problem?

TIA

Default Try this

Go to AutoZone first have them test out your Alt. and Batt. also have them charge your battery that you have now. I was told that I needed a new battery also by the dealership and all it was I had to get it recharged for free at Auto Zone I was recommended to change the battery anyway since I am running a 1000 watt system and can use more power. I have choosen to get the Duralast 24F at Autozone. I did the homework on this and a Optma Batt. wouldn't help me much since I have a stock engine and nothing that really requires me to have a deep cell battery so I figure I save the money for something else.[>:]
