Timing a 1.6-16 valve engine

Timing a 1.6-16 valve engine
My timing belt broke on my 1992 4wd sidekick, and the timing gear has more than one mark on it. I am not sure which ones to use. the dot with the I or the dot with the E next to it? The engine is a 1.6 liter 16 valve
