So a friend of mine is giving me a 1981 gs750e for free. The only reason is because it is currently in pieces because it was a project and he doesn't have time for it anymore. Im taking this on knowing that it ran before he took it apart but its not in horrible condition. The only reason it was taken apart was because he was putting a mod on that was going to allow a fatter rear tire. I however am not going to go through with this mod because I want to bring it back to its former 1981 glory. If anyone has any tips, tricks, and or places to buy parts for this thing please let me know. If I get pictures I will make an update on this post soon but for now i have no clue what the actual physical condition is on the bike.
