cdi toast or not toast
Hello. I got this 2005 S83 Boulevard that is not running. My coils are not getting spark. The battery is new the plugs are new. I've run multimeter ohm tests on stator, pickup coil, starter relay, starter, decompression relay, fuel pump relay, side stand switch, neutral gear switch, kill switch, starter button, and all the lights work properly. I pulled my cdi/ignitor because I wanted to test it. I'm cheap and scoured the internet and downloaded a suzuki service manual for the VS1400.
Take a look at the cdi, it has this bubbling from the inside. Previous owner told me they blew a fuse at one point but it's frustrating because everything else is in working order.I attached the manual but that's frustrating as well, not all color codes for wires are what I have.
I think my next step, from video I saw about another bike, is to check the ignition switch. There might be a micro relay in there.
