Default Electric Issues on my '01 800 Intruder

Hey, guys and gals. The bike is a suzuki intruder (duh) 01 800 and she is my pride and joy. She just turned 20k and, though I got her with 16k on her, she is for the first time, showing a unique problem. She won't charge above 12.5 v and when I get her to near the top of any gear, she want's to die and if in 6th when I reach 60, lights go dim and it does die. I replaced the battery 3 months ago and she made a trip to Dayton from Tampa and back. Then I had to change plugs because they aren't burning hot enough to keep them from fouling out. New plugs and she ran great, but now she doesn't seem to be charging, the turn signals dim the headlamp and so on. The battery holds a charge, but still the bike dies above 60 and at the top of each gear (rpm uncertain but that seems to be the constant). Checked the stator (resistance, not running) checked the rectifier (diode mode) which has a slight difference between .44 and .46 in the readings. Just don't know where to turn from here. Help
