I'm a army veteran finally trying to relax and bought a 1994 intruder 1400 cc bike.
it only has 2000 miles on it . Was bought in midwest and driven amd then garaged.
I don't know anything about bikes but the left exhaust is a goldfish color . It runs a little rough. And
would like advice on what to do next and what to do about exhaust .

I just bought a 01 Intruder 800. The exhaust is discolored, in my research I've read that it's due to the motor running lean, but also that it's due to simple time and corrosion. So who knows?
Also in my research I've learned the bike has dual carburetors that have to be synced to each other, which is way beyond my skill set. I bought the Clymer manual as advised, and am going to tackle changing the oil. The whole thing is a learning process.
