My 01 intruder was running, rough for one but that's not what I need help with. One day it died and I never got it to start and run after that. I thought it was the starter solonoid so I ordered a new one and while waiting I got a universal lawn mower one and a new battery but it still acted like the battery was bad. I jumped it with an 18v lithium and it started but wouldn't stay running. I finally looked under by the side stand and seen a ground wire that ran right under the oil filter and it was cut in half and laying on my exhaust. Is that the whole reason I blew fuses everytime I turned the key on? And if so should I replace the wire or can I bypass it?
