Hello out there - I am trying to figure out why my HIGH TEMP light always is on - and in tracing the wiring I run into this "Water Temp Unit" located in the Speedo - Is there anyone who can tell me how this functions / what it does to control/affect voltage to the HIGH TEMP light? Or who to call? No manuals I have consulted explain it.
Nvmnd. I bought it, replaced it (along with the temp sensor, and many hours looking for a short). This unit was the problem. High Temp light works again. Also wiring diagram doesn't show the in-line diode from the Gr/Y wire that splices in to charge the circuit (so you know the bulb still works) during the ON but before starting phase.
