Unhappy 1979 TS100 Having Trouble Starting

To make a long story short my TS100 was running fine one summer week and then it cooled down about 10 degrees one day and my cycle would not start. I thought it would be a carburetor problem but when I took it off it was fine, I put it back on with the float needle upside down and my carb started to flood... to the point where it was coming out of a small hole in my exhaust. I then took the exhaust and carb off, cleaned the muffler, and took off the wiring harness because it was giving me problems with the headlight/turn signals.

Today I put everything back together(carb, exhaust, gas tank, and parts of the wiring harness) and it still isn't starting!!!
My first thoughts are that it could be electrical but I do not know. Any one have suggestions as to what I should do next?
