Hi all, have a 2002 Grand Vitara does any know the procedure for doing the ignition timing, both the base timing of 5 degs and the subsequent timing of 11 - 15 degs. I have the $200 Suzuki Workshop Manuals ( Very poor cross references < actually none&gt. The worshop manual only tells you to use a Suzuki Scan Tool.
Been in touch with Suzuki by EMail. They are as good as useless. Asked them for a list of error codes. Their reply was "buy a manual". Real good cutomer relations.

My old 97 was easy. You just jumpered the data link connector. Suspect something very similar for the 2002, but can't find out
