Default Interior Dust Issue

Experiencing a real problem with dust coming into the interior of my2007 JLX Grand Vitara. Anyoneelse having a similar problem.

Driving with AC on, windows closed, air on recirculateand getting a tremendous amount of dust that coats the whole truck interior. Can sometimes see the plume of dust and can definitely smell the dust. Tire jack compartment has heavy buildup ofdust as does glove box, arm rest box.Driving on dirt road necessitates at least a 1hr cleaning of interior to get rid of dust.

Dealer has checked airvent operation, interior airfilter, various intake vents, door specs but everything checks out ok.

I suspect door seals are the issue asI can see heavy dust trails around door especially front doorsaround front lower corner of the window area (coming thru door seal not window area).

I have found one owner of a 06GV complaining of water coming in around lower door seals but no other references toa similar issueas I am having withdust.

Anyone else noticehigh dustlevels in their GVs -it's especially noticable on the instrument panel as this is where it seemsto showmost easily?

I would say I've accumulated as much dust in my GVlast weekend as I haveoverthe 10year life of my subaru!

Sounds like your cabin filter may need to be replace. I have that issue every 5k here in New Mexico due to high winds and sand storms

Thanks for the reply...my dealer checked the filter and said it was very clean.

Suzuki has told me I should ensure the cabin airflow switch is set to allow outside air into the cabin in order to pressurized the cabin properly. This seems to be contrary to what you would think but I've heard this suggestion on other 4x4 forums as well.

As it's winter here I can't test to see if this makes any difference.
