Default Vitara problem

Hi all.
I have got a problem with my vitara, the same as in this post:
"
I have an 03 1.6 Vitara which is giving me a headache. Hope someone can help.
Scenario: I start the engine from standing overnight or being at work for 8 hours. Starts fine, choke working fine. Engine warms up to the point where the choke is disengaged. Problem starts at this point. The engine won't idle when i come to a stop or slowing right down, the revs just drop off too a stall. By trial and error i have found that if i turn the engine off, wait a few seconds, then start up again the problem rectifies itself and Vitara runs normal. Why? Any ideas? I know it could be dampness but it has also happened during warm weather. "

Can anyone help me?

Its 05 1.6 automatic Vitara

Thanks!

Yes. There are two possibilities. One is the throttle position sensor, and the other is the solenoid that holds the throttle open. Darn, can't remember the name for it. Any competent dealer should be able to plug into the computer and pinpoint the exact problem for you.

Donn

Are you thinking of an idle valve control? I gave it a good cleaning and so far seems to be ok.

Many thanks!
