Default suzuki rm 125 1996 no compression on kickstart

hi

i brought a suzuki rm 125 just over 2 weeks a go last week end it just died when i was riding it and wouldnt start off the kick or bumping it, i have noticed theres no compression in the kick start does any body no wat the problem is thanks alot jim

if there were no noises or if you didnt have it full throttle for a long period of time it sounds like you need to put a new ring in it to me no big deal its a normal 2 stroke thing but if you had it wide open for a while you probibly melted o hole in the piston take your plug out and check it for metal if there isnt any its prob just the ring.

ya it sounds like your top end blew. easy fix. my experience with a 2 stroke is when it runs better and better each and everytime u ride it, the top end is close to going out. also if u pull your plug as advised above check the color of the burned area. its best to check after being wide open asap even when its still hot but if u are white with lil to no carbon buildup you are running too lean on ur fuel/oil mixture and that will make your top end to go. that could be easily change by going with a bigger main jet in the carb.
