Default 1993 rm 125 compression loss

i am looking at buying a 1993 rm 125 for cheap. the only problem is it died while the owner was riding it and he says it has no compression anymore.

i guess i'm just trying to get a feel for what it could be and what i could check on it to try to diagnose it before committing to a purchase. and then about how much you think it might cost to fix. i don't want it to turn into an expensive project. i'm just looking for something cheap to fix up and have fun in the woods with.

i have experience with working on bikes, but not suzuki and not 2-strokes. and i've never had to deal with a loss of compression. the biggest problem i can think of that could cause it would be a cracked top end or something, but i don't know.

let me know what you guys think and thanks a lot for the help in advance.

Thought that I would start a new thread out there just to get an idea of what installers prefer using in the field for RG6 Compression Fittings. Post the fitting you use, and why you prefer to use that fitting. _______=== XRumer 5.0 Palladium RULEZ! ===
