Hello newb to the forum and I've got some questions about a recently purchased suzuki Jr -50. Bought the bike and realized that there isn't any gear pedal on the motor (does suzuki make a single gear engine ?). Also realized the frame might not be for a JR since the gas tank screw on the frame only have a single screw point while the tank is meant for two screws. Also of note, there seems to be a left hand side brake. So my questions is... what the heck did I buy and is there anyway I can find out about my bike via the VIN numbers on the frame and or engine.

The photos show the crank case where there should be a foot pedal gear shift (and there is none). I'll try and get some better pics
