Bandit gsf 1200 2001 jet sizes
Hi everyone, I'm sure there's a thread somewhere but I just can't find it.
I'm needing some jetting advice, I previously mains 148/150/150/148 with 37.5 pilots 3rd notch down and K&N pods. I got around 60 miles on the tank which I wasn't happy about.
I went back to box and standard jets 100 main and 15 pilot 3rd notch and it ran really poorly, it kept bouncing through the revs on idle no matter how I set the air screw.
I'm tempted to go back to K&N dual pods because of how easy it was to take the carbs out, to clean around etc.
My question, does anyone have any advice on jet sizes with pods? I'm tempted to put 115 main and 17 pilot in. I'm hoping for at least 100 miles on the tank obvs I'd like more with the pods but ideally that's what id be satisfied with.
What can I get away with as the standard sizing doesn't seem to start the bike without choke either.
Thanks
