Hey all. I am new to this list and am restoring a 1984 GSX 550 EF. The paint, specifically the blue, is a bit rough and I want to refresh it. I am wondering how to match the colour the best as possible. I plan to do the paint myself (Paint shops want $1,000 and I own all the equipment).

The blue is basically the stock blue colour shown here:




Any advice or leads appreciated. I spent over 5 hours trying to find the correct paint code for this bike but have found many conflicting bits of data on the internet.
