A little history on my. 56-year-old juvenile delinquent with the following bikes owned under my belt: 83 GS1100ED, 82 KATANA SZ1000, a couple of supermotos, and 1983 KZ550 (fat man on little bike). My favorite is the red 83 GS1100ED. Had it from 1986 to 1997. I replaced the handlebars with semi-drag bars and loved every minute of it. All of the bikes I have owned get Pods, Jet Kit, and a 4 into 1 pipe.

I am back in the game and have the option to purchase an 83 GS1100ES (the GS1100 with the upper fairing) or a GS1150. Both will get my treatment of Pods, Jet Kit, and Pipe. I have fond memories of the GS1100 but have always wanted the GS1150. I think the ES is more of a classic and would get more head turns but again, I am juvenile delinquent and a sidewinder pipe is in any to the bike's future.

Any input would be appreciated on what you would do.
