I hope this forum is still alive enough for me to get some answers.

I have a 1982 GS1100G for which I am trying to find a 4-1 exhaust setup. The problem is that most of the systems I see are for the 1100E, which is 16V, and which I doubt is compatible with my 8V engine. The MAC systems appear to be the best ones available since the Vance and Hines system seems to be NLA. Would this system work with my 8V 1100G?

I am capable of fabricating my own exhaust if I have to, but I prefer to buy something off the shelf and ride the bike rather than make it a lengthy project. As it is, I already have to pull the head for a valve job and new stem seals.
