Need Help Correctly Identifying Bike using VIN (GS400T 1980)
Hey Everyone,
I have a motorcycle which is registered as a 1980 GS400. or it could be GS400T. I need clarification on what model and year the bike actually is, as it was registered previously through a vintage bike club in SA when I bought it in 2011.
I have the VIN number, and can't seem to track or identify what the year or model actually is and would really appreciate some help. The bike is completely original, and I am looking to replace the regulator/rectifier and need to know the details in order to order the correct part. Can anyone please help me if I give you the VIN number? VIN: GS40071787 engine number GS400 - 76633
