I have a 2004 with the EX package and the factory alarm. I want to do two things...

1. How do I set the alarm where it will honk when it engages? Right now I only get the lights flashing when I turn it on.

2. How do I adjust the sensitivity? I want to crank mine up some. Thanks for all your help.

 

Have the dealership do this. Those are options you have for the system which the dealership dosn't turn on for you due to the system is plug and play. They just drop it in because your XL7 comes ready for easy install. If you would have done it yourself it would have taken 15-30 mins to install. I got an after market Audiovox unit at half the price at Bestbuy. It has everything remote keyless enter, auto kill, front windows go down at a touch of the OPT button, auto lock when car starts.
