Just in case you were wondering the SV650 (for me at least) makes a decent sport touring bike, the stock seat is the only draw back for me, I have used an air cushion for the at times. However, once you set yourself up with a windshield, luggage, heated grips/barkbusters, add to that the reliability of the SV you are pretty much ready to go anywhere.
