Default Any Advice For Removing Stock Exhaust/Installing Vance and Hines Twin Slash Staggered

Hey guys, I scored a set of V&H Twin Slash Staggered pipes on Ebay for my 2009 C50T, and I'm going to try swapping them out with the stock ones myself. I did something similar on an old Yamaha V Star 650 I owned, but it looks like there are a few more bolts for the Suzuki. Just wondering if anyone has any helpful tips, tricks, or hints on getting the old pipes off, and the new ones on. I know how to turn a wrench, but I'm not exactly mechanically inclined or experienced. I do plan on replacing the gaskets, and buying a 6mm allen socket to make getting the header bolts out easier. It seems like some people remove/install the exhausts in pieces (which is what the repair manual I found says), but others say that you can remove/install the whole thing as one unit. Any opinions there? Thanks guys, I'll try to post some pix and a review of everything in the next day or two when I start digging into it.
