Default Ecu

You are going to have to take the tanks off and it will be on the left hand side under the tank. That is where you can install your new part.

I hope that is true for 2004 vs 1400 GLP. I am buying one for $300 that needs the ECU replaced as well as all the stuff on the handlebar plus the handlebar.I hope I get the right piece. Some have 8 and 4 spade connectors and some have 8 and 6. I will know which to get when I see the old unit The thing has 4000 mi on it. Should be able to make some coin with it. I have a pristine 2003 GLP also. That one backfires in the left cylinder a lot when running slowly. I had a leak at the pipe/cylinder joint when I got stock pipes to replace the drag pipes due to an angle error. I have stopped most of it with 1/8" Johns Manville glass rope but still not perfect.
