Default Head shake

I purchased a Boulevard C90T last year. No gripes with the bike as I am 6'6" and 400+ pounds. I purchased the bike for its comfort. I had the rear mono-shock adjusted to its stiffest level last year and have had no trouble. I recently replaced the stock seat with a Mustang which forces me to sit just inches forward from the stock seat. Since the seat exchange I have been feeling a vibration in the handlebars.

I have checked the tire pressure and the axle and do not find any problems. That being said I am new to motorcycles and maintenance, so I am not sure what I am looking for.

I purchased the Clymer manual and have checked with fellow riders and they suggest that the front suspension may not be stiff enough for my wieght. Any others out there experience this? Any suggestions on how to correct the soft front shock issue?
