i recently came into a 2008 c90 boulevard and the guy i got it from straight piped the bike and removed the PAIR system. my problem is, it backfires on the decel now he said he put a "plate with nuts and bolts and it must have came off" I assumed he meant an AIS block plate.
i will attach pictures to show what i am taking about.
so whats the pros and cons of keeping the PAIR system off? and what are my options on stopping the backfiring? can i replace the whole system? are there aftermarket options?
