I just recently bought my M50, And it keeps stalling on me, Coming to a stop at stop lights the motor just cuts off, as well as shifting It usually fires right back up with no problems but does give me a little grief here and there. Some times it will cut back out and re start with a little gas but has never left me stranded. Any ideas on what could be the problem before I give up and drive it down to Suzuki?

 

what kinda mods u got on it? might just need a different fuel map

 

Its all stock, Seems that if I roll off the throttle a little more gingerly it keeps running.. If I roll out of it rather quickly or have to react to something major and snap off the throttle or roll off to quickly it dies.

 

There is a Suzuki recall regarding the rectifier. It is reported that power loss occurs due to this defect. You may want to check your VIN with the dealer to see if it applies.

 

How and where can I check on that recall. My 2006 M50B does the same thing after sitting in storage for four years while I had nine back operations. I love the way this bike fits me.. my third Suzuki. 65 yo and not ready to trash it. Dealer says it needs an engine. It ran great before storage
