This seems like a dumb question but just to make sure...I just pulled apart a set of carbs for a 97 vs1400gl, the float in the top carb is the usual modern opaque squarish plastic but the bottom float is the old style round side brass. This cant be factory is it? I looked up the floats on bike bandits parts fiche and the bottom float does indeed look like the round side but....I guess i just need a second opinion from someone who knows these carbs before I bolt it back together. thank you.
