any DR350 people that can help?

I just got a 1999 Dr350. It runs but will need rings at some point because it smokes a bit now. My question is, I need to do some work on it, i want to adjust the cam chain and don't know the procedure for it or where the tensioner is located. There are things on it i have no idea what they are, hoses going to a cylinder for the rear shock, a secondary lever on the handle bars below the clutch lever. What type of oil is best, and can I add some stop smoke gunk to help with the smoking till i get to the rings this winter? how to adjust the clutch?
Also need to know the procedure for putting new rings in it.
Any info, tips, tech on this bike would be greatly appreciated.
