Default CARBERATOR BACKFIRING

[&:] 2005 S83 Boulevard with 1,300 miles, had problems from the beginning before braking in after 600 mile check everything was ok, now I am starting to develop carb. backfiring, and strong smell of gas in right exhaust muffler. Also, had noisy valve lifters until I installed Mobile One Synthetic Oil at 900 miles, no more noise. Has anyone ever come across this same situation? with a brand new bike?

i think that means to syncronize your carbs. and throttle body. but its shouldnt have to be done at only 1300 miles

gas smell?.............back firing ?...........sounds like unburned fuel.........possibly a valve/timing issue
