Default Do fuel additive carb cleaners work?

I need to have my carbs cleaned, and I'm not ready to fork out the 350 greenbacks they want to do it. Has anyone ever used the fuel additive carb cleaners and if so what kinda success have you had with them? Thanks in advance.

Whoever quoted you $350 for cleaning your carbs was having a laugh!
Depending on how bad the carbs are, fuel system cleaner might help, but having the carbs stripped and cleaned propperly is the only real solution.
