Valve check/adjustment interval

Valve check/adjustment interval
Have a GSX650F and a Boulevard C50. Both have just gone past 1K. Did oil change, lube, and overall tightening, etc. Do they need to go to the dealer for valve check/adjustment now or at 6K. Please advise. Thanks
