Battery draining when parked
I am a new owner of a 2005 M50.
I like the bike very much indeed, and have put on a lot of cruising miles with no problems.
I do find that if I park the bike for two or three days without riding, the battery discharges.
The battery is not defective, I have removed the positive connection and checked for current draw. With the ignition OFF, there is a significant current draw - more than is needed to run the clock.
There must be a short in the system.
Has anyone else run into this problem? Is there an easy systematic way to track down the short?
