picked up a 1981 gs850l (with keys and registation !) for $100 the other day. not a pretty thing, and the original plan was to just part it or flip it; but after cleaning the handlebar switches, bottle-feeding it and using a booster battery, it ran on starter fluid for a few seconds and sounded pretty healthy doing so. now it's game on ! i don't restore (don't have the patience or skill for that), but i like to make them start, run, stop and be roadworthy. i have done this with a few hondas but this is my first suzuki.

first question ... what sub-forum would this bike fit in ... cruiser ... standard ... ?
