Newbie rider here. Currently on GN250 and progressing through our graduated licencing system: 6mths on Learners [speed limit to 70kph], then minimum 3mths on Restricted [this lets you go to speed limit maximum 100kph but no larger than 250cc bike], by completing a defensive driving course and over 25yrs old then eligible to sit Full licence test after 3mths Restricted - then permitted ride larger size cc bikes.

Currently on Restricted until Feb07 and I'm looking at next bike. I am still not sure what it will be and will wait until I can take demo rides. Currently am considering S50 Boulevard in the cruiser style, and perhaps either the SV650 or Bandit.

Live at bottom of North Island here and have been riding right through winter and summer is looking good.
