newbie in need of help

my 96 750 katana wont stay running. Immediately after i start it up it goes dead. I tried to idle it up but that didn't work.

Also im looking to buy a 4-1 header.

Sounds like it has a problem with the choke idle. I would take the carbs apart and clean them...
