We have a 2013 M50 that won't stay running unless you add a tiny bit more thrust to the throttle. If you let go of the throttle, it dies every time. We have added seafoam & new gas, and it still won't run. The entire fuel system was replaced in 2021. It has been sitting through a Colorado winter, but we started & ran it for 20 minutes every week. We just read that this is not the best way to do it, and we should have winterized the tank, removed the battery, and just let it sit.
This all happened during my husband's 2x cancer battle, immediately followed by kidney failure leading to end stage renal failure, and we were just doing the best we knew how. We MUST sell it now to survive and stay afloat, and need to get it to stay running so we can sell it. It runs fine, drives fine, but must keep rpm's up so it won't die and take the battery with it after too many re-starts. What do we try to fix it?? There are NO motorcycle mechanics here in central CO, but it seems like we should be able to fix it ourselves. PLEASE help!! Thank you in advance.
