Hello All! New poster seeking some advice. I've been riding a motorcycle year round here in NC for the past year and a half, commuting every day to work. I've cut my teeth on a 07 Yamaha Virago 250 and it's time to move up. I initially was set on the M50 but was wondering if I should go ahead and make the jump to the M90. I'm confident that the M50 would fit well with the daily commute but am concerned that another year from now I'll be looking to make a jump again to the M90. With the M90 having more options for customization it seems on the surface like a bike i could stick with for the next few years or more but I am also aware that moving from 250cc to 1400 is a big jump in power and weight. I wanted to get some wisdom from folks who have to been through some upgrades and ideally some gents (or ladies!) who have ridden both and can speak to any major differences. I plan on mostly riding around the city (to work, the gym, etc) with occasional trips up and down the highways eventually with the wife on the back. Thanks in advance for the help!
