Hello everyone!

I recently bought a 1990 DR250S as a project. Thought it would be fun to bring it back to life. It's in really rough shape though.

It will bump start, but have to keep the idle high to keep it from stalling. Cleaned the carb, new plug, good spark, new battery, wiring looks and test fine.

But it will NOT even try on a kick.

Compression test shows 85psi. I think that's really low.

So my dilema - part it out and buy a newer DR650, or rebuild the engine.

Looking for thoughts / advice from others.
