Hi all - just taken the fuel tank off for a suspected fuel pump issue, that was fun.... NOT!!!
Quick questions
Due to now needing the inevitable few parts from the removal process (pipes / clips and the fuel pump itself) can anyone suggest a good supplier please?
How on earth do you get the fuel pump out the tank? There is a float switch attached which prevents drawing it out all the way - does this have to be unclipped somehow as the plastic connections look very flimsy so didn't want to do it wrong!
Also what are the connectors for the fuel lines called some kind of click lock system I haven't seen before!
Also there is a box that the fuel lines go into just in front of the tank - what is this please?
Finally does anyone know where the fuel filter is please?
Any suggestions happily received as its all in bits now and next job will be to get it all back together hopefully
