my inner head gasket keeps melting (there are two O ring type gaskets) It happens in the same part of the gasket, towards the front of the head. Cylinder fills with coolant & I'm a sitting duck... Why does this keep happening ? The first time was last winter, I took it out for a short ride on a mild day (bad idea ?) the gasket failed within ten minutes. We fixed it, and seem to get no more than a couple hours on the bike & it's happened two more times. Any ideas ?

Are you using an OEM part? Torqued to spec? Many of my friends have had issues with Vesrah and other gasket makers.
