Default Get GoPro Hero3 MP4 transcoded for freely editing in Media Composer 6

The GoPro HERO3 is smaller and lighter than its predecessor. It's also Wi-Fi enabled. The HERO3 is designed for recording action sports and it comes with a rugged housing that is waterproof down to a depth of 197' (60 m). The camera captures 4K Cinema, 2.7K Cinema, 1440p and Full HD 1920 x 1080p MP4 video. It also captures 960p, 720p and 480p video as well. Plus, it supports NTSC and PAL, and it can record up to 240 fps. For still images, the HERO3 supports 5, 7 and 12-megapixel photos.

I have been happily using GoPro Hero3 files with Avid Media Composer 5, but GoPro Hero3 files with MC6 lost start-time and itís not ideal for editing work.

However, if you have got one Hero3 and want to imput the recorded HD movies to Avid Media Composer for editing, you are likey to meet the similar errors like the above user. To help all guys to solve the problem, we searched far and wide. From some usersí feedback, we know MC 6 does not support info from GoPro files anymore. While, if you've transcoded Hero3 MP4 videos to DNxHD, you will easily get file to Avid for smoothly editing.

Step 1: Step 1: Launch the recommended Brorsoft Video Converter and then click the adding button to import your 1080p H.264 MP4 files from Hero3 to it. If necessary, you can click the box "Merge into one" to combine several videos to one file.
