Hi...Can anyone help with a cam chain tensioner? I had a problem with the starter, to get at the starter I removed the tensioner. Removed and fixed the starter, got the starter and cover back together. Turned it over the make sure the starter worked....it turns over now. TRIED re installing the tensioner but it would not go in all the way...bout 1/2 inch short. Tried taping the start button thinking it would get to a point that it would go in all the way. Didn't work, does anyone know how to get the tensioner back in?
