Unhappy New To the forums, trying to save my bike.

Hey everyone, I've got a GN 125, 1992, that the PO really abused (I didn't help, but it's been sitting for a while. Got her to start up right away like she usually does, but the top of the motor smokes a little.

Oil window is full when she's on the center stand, but I don't have any on the dipstick, it looked full so I DID run it off and on a few times testing things... I've got little metallic flakes in what's left of the oil. I can pick them up, but they are still small, some sources are implying the engine is gone (my fault, then, most likely) some just telling me to fill it with good oil and it'll be fine. It'd not be so worried if it wasn't for the smoke (not think, and the engine seems to run well, dosn't wanna idle, but that could be the carb, that's shot, too."

Is it even worth bothering?
