Default Barn find

Hey all. I have just purchased a 2006 Boulevard C50. It has been sitting for at least 5 years. The inside of the fuel tank is rusty, the fuel pump is shot and it needs a new battery. Can anybody on here tell me what other problems or issues I should keep an eye out for?

This is very strange I’m in the exact same situation. I just got a 2006 boulevard C50 that has been sitting for five years. Only has 3k miles. I cleaned out the tank and did the oil change and a new battery. But I think the fuel pump is trash as well. But I’m nervous to spend $400 on it if it won’t fix the issue. It’s almost starts lol

I cleaned out my fuel tank as well. While I had the FP out, I fiddled with it a little bit and got it to run. I put it in a bucket of fuel and Seafoam and the thing ran for hours with no issue. I reinstalled it in the tank and reinstalled the tank. I put gas in and tried to fire it up, I know I have fire at the plugs, but, no luck getting it to start. I'm thinking I'm going to pull the injectors, make sure they're clean and clear. Do you know if there is some kind of priming procedure for bikes that have been sitting dry for an extended period or new injectors installed?
